Next month, deGrom will experience the Mets fanatics up close.  He is set for an autograph signing at the Steiner Sports store in the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York on April 28th.  

From 6:30-8:00, deGrom will sign flats for $139 and equipment for $149 with an extra $49 charge for inscriptions.  New York closer Jeurys Familia will also appear at the signing.

deGrom further cemented his place as one of baseball's best young starting pitchers last season.  He made his first All-Star team and finished his sophomore campaign 14-8 with a 2.54 ERA and 205 strikeouts in 191 innings. 

Most importantly, deGrom was an essential cog in the Mets journey to the Fall Classic.  He made four postseason starts, going 3-1 with a 2.88 ERA.  

In 2014, deGrom was called up to the big leagues for the first time in May and did not disappoint.  He went 9-6 with a 2.69 ERA while striking out 144 on the way to NL Rookie of the Year honors.
