The Atlanta Falcons originally selected him with the fifth overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft. He won a Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. 

Sanders was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, College Football Hall of Fame and the Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor.
