NFL Rushing King Emmitt Smith Speaks at the National Orange Show Celebration Dinner

On December 4th, the NFL's all-time rushing leader, Emmitt Smith was in San Bernardino, California for a special event. He spoke at the National Orange Show's 13th annual Celebration Dinner. 

The dinner raised $88,000 for PossAbilities. The non-profit is part of the Linda University Health program and it assists those with permanent physical disabilities. 

To help additionally with the cause, Smith auctioned off one of his touchdown balls on stage. Over 900 people attending the event. 

Smith totaled a record 18,355 rushing yards during his 15-year NFL career. He spent all but two of those seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and won three Super Bowls with the franchise. 

Smith was an eight-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro. He won the NFL's Most Valuable Player award back-to-back years in 1992 and 1993. 

In 2010, Smith was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Cowboys Ring of Honor and currently oversees several business interests.
