NHL commissioner Gary Bettman will be at the home of the Nashville Predators on Monday for a special speaking engagement.  He is the keynote speaker at the Fall Nashville Leadership Luncheon.

Bettman is appearing at Bridgestone Arena on behalf of Continuum Planning Partners.  He will also participate in a Q & A with Predators CEO & President Sean Henry. 

There is no question that attendees were entertained as Bettman took them behind-the-scenes on his leadership journey.  He was able to share some of the highlights of his NHL tenure. 

Bettman has been commissioner since 1993.  Revenues have skyrocketed in the league under his watch and six new franchises have been added. 

In 2014, Bettman was named Sports Executive of the Year from SportsBusiness Journal.  This year, he was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. 

Before joining the NHL, Bettman worked in a variety of capacities with the NBA.  He eventually rose to the role of general counsel and senior vice president.
