Olympic Diving Champion David Boudia Speaks at Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry February 4th

Olympic diving champion David Boudia has a unique opportunity to return to his alma mater for a special speaking engagement. He is scheduled to speak at the Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry on February 4th. 

The event is being held at the Elements Financial Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is put on by Purdue's Agricultural Alumni Association. 

Boudia will share stories about his Olympic journey and a career that began when he was 11 years old. Doors open at 10 a.m. and tickets cost $25. 

Boudia joined the U.S. National Diving Team when he was 16 and won a national championship in sychronized diving. He is a four-time Olympic medalist. 

In 2012, Boudia won gold in the ten meter platform and bronze in the synchronized ten meter platform. This past summer, he picked up silver and bronze respectively in the two events. 

Boudia also has five World Championship medals to his credit. While with the Boilermakers, he won six national titles and set numerous school records.
