Since becoming one of the most decorated U.S. Olympians of all-time, Shannon Miller has served as an inspiration to many. Today, she is giving a presentation as part of the Women's Wednesdays Speaker Series in St. Augustine, Florida. 

The series is put on by the locally-based global women's movement, She Is Fierce! Miller is the fourth speaker in a five-week grouping that began on May 31st. 

Today's event takes place at 5 p.m. at The Treasury on the Plaza. General admission tickets are $20 and VIP seats are $50. 

Miller won five Olympic medals in 1992, including a silver in the all-around competition. She also competed in the 1996 Olympics and won two gold medals in the team competition and on the balance beam. 

Miller's seven total medals set a new Olympic record for a U.S. gymnast. She also won nine World Championship medals, including five golds. 

Miller is a two-time member of the United States Olympic Hall of Fame. She is also in the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and the Women's International Sports Hall of Fame.
