Companies are already lining up to partner with potential 2018 Winter Olympics stars. This week, KT Tape brought on American skier Julia Mancuso as a brand ambassador. 

KT Tape is a Utah-based manufacturer of kinesiology tape and other sports medicine taping products. The partnership is a natural one since Mancuso has been using the product as she recovers from hip surgery. 

Mancuso will continue to use KT Tape as she returns to competition this week. She has a two-year deal and is part of a group of 17 Olympic and Paralympic athletes working with the brand. 

In 2018, Mancuso is aiming to make her fifth Olympics. She has won four medals at the Games and five World Championship medals. 

Mancuso captured her only Olympic gold in giant slalom in 2006. She won two silver medals in 2010 in the downhill and combined competitions and added a bronze in combined in 2014. 

Mancuso began competing in World Cup events at the age of 15. She has seven World Cup victories and has finished in the top ten of the overall season standings seven times.
