There is no denying the popularity that Isiah Thomas still enjoys in Detroit. Today, he is making several appearances in the area on behalf of Cheurlin Champagne. 

Thomas is debuting the new collection to the Detroit marketplace via ISIAH Imports. His first stop is at 4 p.m. at Papa Joe's in Birmingham. 

At 7 p.m., Thomas will be at House of Pure Vin in Detroit. During each visit, attendees can purchase a bottle of the champagne for him to autograph. 

Thomas spent his entire 13-year career with the Pistons and was a 12-time NBA All-Star. He is regarded as one of the greatest point guards in league history. 

In 1989 and 1990, Thomas led Detroit to back-to-back NBA championships. He holds franchise records for points, assists, steals and games played. 

In addition to having his jersey retired by the Pistons, Thomas is also a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame and College Basketball Hall of Fame. Since leaving the court, he has been a coach, team executive, businessman and broadcaster.
