Thomas spent his entire 13-year career with the Pistons and was a 12-time NBA All-Star. He is regarded as one of the greatest point guards in league history.
In 1989 and 1990, Thomas led Detroit to back-to-back NBA championships. He holds franchise records for points, assists, steals and games played.
In addition to having his jersey retired by the Pistons, Thomas is also a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame and College Basketball Hall of Fame. Since leaving the court, he has been a coach, team executive, businessman and broadcaster.
