Damian Lillard is having another successful season on the court and that has only heightened his momentum off of it.  Adidas released a new advertising campaign with Lillard this week.

The Trail Blazers star point guard's spot is the latest in the "Creators Never Follow" series.  It features Lillard rapping a few lines and a quick shot of the recently released D Lillard 2 shoe.  

Lillard has had a busy week outside of the Adidas commercial drop.  His first music video was released live on TNT during their pregame coverage on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and his second signature shoe received wider release today.  

Lillard is currently averaging 24.3 points, seven assists, and 4.4 rebounds a game for the Blazers.  He could very easily make his third consecutive All-Star appearance when the full rosters are released next Thursday.  

With Lillard at the controls Portland has made back-to-back playoff appearances.  He announced himself to the nation in the 2014 postseason,becoming the first player to score over 30 points with less than one turnover in a playoff debut.

Lillard also hit a game-winning three-point shot in game six of that opening round series against the Houston Rockets to help them advance to the second round for the first time since 2000.  The season prior, he had shown flashes that big things were coming and was named NBA Rookie of the Year.
