Not many fanbases support their own like the Kentucky Wildcats. Several of their former players are crisscrossing the state making appearances, including likely NBA lottery pick Malik Monk. 

Monk's tour kicks off in Lexington on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Allsports in the Fayette Mall. He continues the schedule of events on Sunday at the Hall of Fame Cafe in Ashland from 4-6 p.m. 

Monk wraps up round one of his stops in Louisville and Elizabethtown on Tuesday and Wednesday. During each visit, he will sign autographs and pose for photos with fans. 

Monk dazzled in his one season as a Wildcat. He was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and was a consensus second-team All-American. 

Overall, Monk averaged 19.8 points for a UK team that made it to the Final Four. He was also named to the All-SEC first-team and the SEC All-Freshman team. 

At Bentonville High School, Monk was a consensus five-star prospect. He was a McDonald's All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic participant.
