Former Ohio State defensive lineman Joey Bosa may be the top pick in this spring's NFL Draft. Bosa joined a host of Buckeyes with their eyes on the pros in declaring for the draft and now those players are free to pursue money making opportunities.
He will be the latest in a slew of stars to schedule autograph signings throughout Ohio. Bosa will be signing on Saturday, January 23rd at the 2016 Midwest Sports Spectacular at the Crowne Plaza Columbus.
Bosa will appear at the memorabilia show at 3 p.m.. Flats, mini-helmets, and footballs cost $69 while full-size helmets, jerseys, and larger flats cost $79.
In addition to Bosa, several other Ohio State legends like two-time Heisman winner Archie Griffin will also be present. Other luminaries signing include Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, and hockey legend Bobby Hull.
Bosa has been at the center of the Buckeyes defense and is a two-time first-team All-Big 10 pick. The two-time All-American helped OSU to victory in the inaugural College Football Playoff and won the Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year award as a sophomore.
Bosa started his collegiate career with a bang, starting ten games as a true freshman while earning Freshman All-American and Freshman All-Big 10 honors. He looks to be the next product from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to be headed to the NFL.
Rivals.com ranked Bosa as the fourth best defensive end in the Class of 2012. Football runs in the family with father John having played three seasons in the NFL and brother Nick considered a top prospect in the Class of 2016.
