Pro Football Hall of Famer Dan Hampton Keynotes Calumet College of St. Joseph’s Event Saturday

Calumet College of St. Joseph's is hosting their first Crimson and Gray night on Saturday. Pro Football Hall of Famer Dan Hampton will add some star power as the keynote speaker. 

The event takes place at the Rittenmeyer Center in Whiting, Indiana. Festivities kick off at 5 p.m., dinner starts at 6 p.m and there will also be a silent auction and raffle. 

Individual tickets are $60 and proceeds benefit the student-athletes of CCSJ. Hampton will share some stories from his football career and provide words of inspiration. 

Hampton was a defensive tackle for 12 seasons with the Chicago Bears. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro. 

Hampton was a member of the legendary Bears team that won Super Bowl XX. In 1982, Pro Football Weekly named him the NFL Defensive Player of the Year. 

Hampton was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002. He is currently a member of the Bears postgame show on WGN Radio in Chicago.
