Scooter Gennett has been a bright spot for the Cincinnati Reds this season. The new phenom will certainly meet a huge crowd when he makes an appearance on Monday to sign autographs.
Gennett will be at the Sports Gallery in Cincinnati for the second time this month. He was also at the store for a signing on July 2nd, but the demand was so great that another event had to be scheduled.
The signing is hosted by Crave the Auto and runs from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The prices are $20 for cards, $25 for baseballs/photos, $35 for bats/equipment and $10 extra for inscriptions.
After being claimed off waivers by the Reds in March, Gennett has made the most of his opportunity. He started the season off right, hitting a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth on Opening Day.
In June, Gennett hit four home runs and recorded ten RBI in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals. He is currently hitting .311 with 15 home runs and 47 RBI.
The Milwaukee Brewers originally selected Gennett out of Sarasota High School in the 2009 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut with the Brewers in 2013.
