Wrestling fans in Philadelphia will get a special treat while watching one of the WWE's biggest pay-per-views of the year.  Former superstar Lex Luger will be making an appearance in The City of Brotherly Love for a Royal Rumble watch party on January 24th.

Luger will be at NIck's Roast Beef on 2210 Cottman Avenue starting at 6:30 that night.  Autographs at the event cost $20 and a photo opportunity is $10.

Fans can also purchase photos at the event to get signed and there are a variety of food and drink packages.  For a $40 presale special, attendees can get access to the buffet, autograph, photo, three raffle tickets, and $10 in beer credit.   

Luger was a three-time world champion, holding both the WWA and WCW World Heavyweight belts during his career.  His reign as a five-time NWA/WWC United States Heavyweight Champion set records for consecutive and total days as the title holder.  

He also battled for every title in the WWF and his showdown for the World Heayyweight Championship was one of the highlights of Wrestlemania X.  Just a year prior, Luger was named Most Popular Wrestler of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated.  

After a pro football career in the CFL and USFL, Luger started his wrestling career in 1985 in NWA Florida.  Today, he is involved with the non-profit, World Wrestling Outreach, and works with the WWE to improve their welness program.
