Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Tony Romo has teamed up with newly hired Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan in a new commercial for Pizza Hut. Both Romo and Ryan have an affinity for pizza and what better game day snack is there than pizza, right?
During the commercial, Rex Ryan is seen throwing challenge flags at everyone who is not enjoying the delicious taste of Pizza Hut's triple-cheese covered stuffed crust. His challenge is that every other brand's pizza is incomplete, and that those who are eating that other brand's pizza need to step it up. At the end of the commercial he tosses a challenge flag on to Tony Romo's pizza, who responds by saying, "Not again…"
Romo signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2003 and since taking over the reigns as the quarterback for "America's Team" in 2005 he has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times. He is also active in the community and supports the United Way, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Prior to the 2013 season Romo signed a 6-year extension with the Cowboys worth $108 million, with $55 million guaranteed and $25 million in bonuses, securing him for th rest of his career.
Rex Ryan coached the New York Jets from 2009 to 2014 and led his team to consecutive AFC Championship games in 2009 and 2010. Ryan is known as one of the best defensive minds in the game, and will no doubt lead the Bills to success in the year's ahead. In 2011 he released his autobiography, Play Like You Mean It, which discusses his career and football strategy.
