Marketers are certainly taking notice of the standout early season play from Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.  He recently agreed to an endorsement deal with Sanford Health. 

Sanford Health is one of the nation's largest health systems and it is headquartered in the Dakotas where Wentz played college football.  He has a long-running relationship with them as they also served as the official sports medicine team for North Dakota State. 

There are several other athletes who work with Sanford, including Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway and NBA player Mike Miller.  The addition of Wentz is certainly a natural fit to their roster. 

Wentz has led the Eagles to a 3-0 start with some impressive play.  He currently has completed almost 65% of his passes for 769 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. 

In Week 3, Wentz led Philadelphia to a blowout win over the rival Pittsburgh Steelers and was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.  It is looking like the Eagles made the right call when they selected him second overall in this past spring's NFL Draft. 

Wentz had an impressive college career, starting parts of two seasons at NDSU.  He finished his tenure by leading the Bison to their fifth straight FCS National Championship.
