Former Buffalo Bills linebacker and College Football Hall of Famer Shane Conlan has been named the keynote speaker for the upcoming Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame induction banquet scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2015. 

Conlan is a member of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, and is considered to be one of the top four players in Penn State University football history.  While playing for the Nittany Lions he was the epitome of “Linebacker U”, leading his team to a perfect 12-0 record an a national championship in 1986.  He’d go on to play eight seasons in the NFL and be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. 

Tickets for the banquet are $50, which includes dinner, the banquet and Conlan’s keynote address.  This is a great event that honors 10 new inductees and allows fans to meet a true Penn State legend, so be sure to make it out.
