Swimming Legend Mark Spitz Keynotes The Truth About Israel Gala August 30th

Swimming legend Mark Spitz is considered by some to be the greatest Jewish athlete of all-time. Attendees will be excited to see Spitz on August 30th at The Truth About Israel Gala.

He will keynote the event that takes place at the Boca Raton Resort & Club from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Spitz's appearance is even more poignant because this gala will serve the dual purpose of remembering 1972 massacre of Jewish athletes at the Olympics.

Individual tickets to attend are $150 and sponsorships are also available. There will be a four-course sit-down dinner, a live performance and live art auction.

At the 1972 Olympics, Spitz set a record by winning seven gold medals while setting a world record in each event he competed in. He had previously won four medals, including two golds, at the Games in 1968.

Spitz was an eight-time NCAA champion at the Indiana University. On three occasions, Swimming World Magazine named him World Swimmer of the Year.

Spitz is a member of many Halls of Fame, including the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the United States Olympic Hall of Fame. He became a successful endorser and invested in real estate following his swimming career.
