Tennessee Football Coach Butch Jones Speaks at a Fundraising Luncheon on Tuesday

Football is life in the state of Tennessee. It makes great sense then that University of Tennessee football coach Butch Jones is being used to fundraise for the in-state Blankenship Field Revitalization Foundation.

On Tuesday, Jones will speak at a fundraising luncheon for the foundation. The event is being hosted by Tennessee's Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally.

Festivities take place in Oak Ridge at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. Individual tickets are $100, tables of ten can be purchased for $1000 and the seating capacity is limited to 200 people.

Jones has been the head coach of the Vols for four seasons and has turned around the program. The past two seasons, the team has finished in the top 25 and posted 9-4 seasons.

This past season, UT snapped an 11-game losing streak against rival Florida and won the Music City Bowl over Nebraska. Before arriving in Knoxville, Jones guided Cincinnati to back-to-back top 25 seasons.

Jones got his first head coaching opportunity at Central Michigan in 2007. After two eight-win seasons, the Chippewas went 11-2 and were a top 25 team in 2009.
