Tennis legend John McEnroe has made a second career out of being a top spokesman from the world of sports.  He is at it again, lending his services to promote Verizon FIOS. 

In the new commercial, McEnroe promotes the company's smartphone support services.  He is confused as he does self-setup of his new cable system, but is easily guided through the process by the Verizon FIOS app.

At the end of the spot, Verizon also promotes their FIOS service.  The ad was officially released on Monday.  

McEnroe is a former world number one player.  He won seven Grand Slam singles titles and nine Grand Slam men's doubles titles. 

McEnroe was a three-time ATP Player of the Year and won eight year-end championships.  He collected 77 ATP singles and 78 ATP doubles titles. 

In 1999, McEnroe was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.  He has since been a popular television commentator and tennis analyst.
