One of the top legends of Canadian soccer will be on hand later this summer at a special event benefiting students at Thompson Rivers University. On September 29th, Vancouver Whitecaps president Bob Lenarduzzi will speak at the school's Athletic Scholarship Breakfast.
The buffet-style breakfast will run from 6:45-8 a.m. in the university's Grand Hall. Tickets are $100 and around 400 people are expected to attend.
Breakfast benefits student-athletes at Thompson Rivers University. Lenarduzzi will speak about how important the school's role is in the lives of potential future community leaders.

On the club level, Lenarduzzi really made his mark in the now-extinct North American Soccer League. He played for the Vancouver Whitecaps all 11 years the league was in operation and played in a record 312 games.
