Lou Piniella is one of the most respected managers in recent baseball history. The three-time Manager of the Year has a lot of advice to give out and he will next share some of those lessons learned from four decades in the game at the Hornell Sports Night.
The longtime New York Yankees player and manager will head upstate to speak at the event in Elmira April 27. Each year, they regularly have top personalities from the world of sports join as guests.

Before jumping into the managerial ranks, Piniella had a 16-year playing career. He was the American League Rookie of the Year in 1969 and went on to win two World Series with the Yankees.
Piniella got his first shot as a manager with New York and he went on to win a World Series with the Cincinnati Reds in 1990. He then coached the Seattle Mariners for a decade, winning 840 games and tieing the MLB record for regular season wins in 2001.
Piniella also managed the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Chicago Cubs. He is a member of the Seattle Mariners Hall of Fame.
