Maverick McNealy is entering his professional golf career this weekend with a great deal of corporate support. He has picked up a trio of endorsement deals with Callaway Golf, Under Armour and KPMG.
McNealy will carry Callaway clubs and sport a Callaway bag. He will be wearing Under Armour apparel, joining one of the top names in the sport, Jordan Spieth.
Finally, McNealy will have a KPMG logo on his hat. He officially announced the new partnerships in a minute-long video on his Twitter feed.
McNealy announced his intentions to go pro in August and he will debut at the Safeway Open tomorrow. He helped Team USA win the Walker Cup in his last event as an amateur.
In 2014, McNealy first made waves in the golf world by qualifying for the U.S. Open. He also played in the U.S. Open and The Open Championship this year.
McNealy played college golf at Stanford University where he was a two-time Pac-12 Player of the Year. As a sophomore, he won the Haskins Award, which is presented to the best male collegiate golfer each year.
