Toronto Maple Leafs Great Darryl Sittler Holds Hockey Day In Kingston Autograph Signing

Toronto Maple Leafs great Darryl Sittler made some hockey fans very happy this weekend. He held an autograph signing as part of Hockey Day in Kingston festivities. 

Sittler was at Springer Market Square on Saturday for the signing. He also told stories about his playing career and recognized the hockey tradition that exists in Kingston. 

Sittler also shared advice for young aspiring hockey players. Afterwards, he traveled to watch the Maple Leafs take on the Boston Bruins. 

Sittler played the first 12 seasons of his career with the Maple Leafs and spent time as the team captain. He scored over 100 points on two occasions. 

In 1976, Sittler set an NHL single-game record with ten points. He also played with the Philadelphia Flyers and the Detroit Red Wings before retiring in 1985. 

Sittler is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Ontario Sports Hall of Fame and the Canadian Walk of Fame. He was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL players last year.
