Denver Broncos All-Pro cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is returning home for a special event this summer. He will keynote the Tulsa World's All-World Sports Awards.
The banquet takes place on June 23rd from 5-8 p.m. at the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills' Council Oak Ballroom. In addition to giving a keynote presentation, Harris will also participate in a Q&A.
Area athletes will be honored for their accomplishments and scholarships will be presented. General admission tickets are $40 and VIP passes that include a meet and greet with Harris are $100.
Harris has been a revelation for the Broncos since they signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He was named the Pro Football Writers Association's All-Rookie Team in his first season.
Harris had a two-year streak from 2013-15 where he did not allow an interception. He made the first of three straight Pro Bowl appearances in 2014 and was named a second-team All-Pro.
Harris duplicated the second-team All-Pro nomination in 2015 and was named to the first-team for the first time in 2016. He was a key player on a strong Denver defense that won Super Bowl 50.
