Two-Time Super Bowl Champion Coach Mike Shanahan Keynotes Boy Scouts of America Dinner in April

The 41st annual Denver Area Council Sports Breakfast will feature one of the city's sports legends as keynote speaker. Two-time Super Bowl champion coach Mike Shanahan will speak at the Boy Scouts event on April 11th. 

The breakfast is scheduled to be held from 7-9 a.m. at the Pepsi Center. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Denver Area Council that impacts over 43,000 people each year. 

Sponsorship packages range in price from $750-$35,000. Shanahan should be a powerful speaker for those in attendance to listen to. 

Shanahan back-to-back Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos in 1998 and 1999. In 14 seasons with the Broncos, he suffered just two losing seasons and made the playoffs seven times. 

With 138 victories, Shanahan has the most wins in Denver history and is also the franchise record holder in win percentage. He also had runs as a head coach with the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins. 

Before becoming the Broncos head coach, Shanahan won a Super Bowl as an offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. His coaching career began in college football before he got the opportunity to be an offensive coordinator in Denver in 1984.
