As heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic is on top of the UFC world and now endorsement opportunities are starting to follow. The Mexican beer brand, Modelo Especial has agreed to a partnership with the fighter. 

Miocic is the first mixed martial arts competitor to come to a deal with Modelo. They became the UFC's official beer partner in October. 

Modelo will highlight Miocic in an array of digital and social content to promote the pact. He will also be featured in a television advertising spot later this year. 

Miocic first won the UFC Heavyweight title with his May 2016 knockout of Fabricio Werdum. He has gone on to defeat top contenders Allistair Overeem and Junior Dos Santos to retain his belt. 

On Saturday, Miocic will try to break the record of three successful title defenses for a heavyweight when he faces Francis Ngannou at UFC 220. He has long been one of the organization's most exciting fighters and is a three-time winner of Fight of the Night and a four-time recipient of Performance of the Night. 

Miocic currently holds the second-most knockout victories for a heavyweight in UFC history at eight. He joined the UFC in 2011 after beginning his professional career 6-0.
