Select bookstores in Columbus, Ohio are experiencing an uptick in business this week.  With Ohio State football on a bye this week, head coach Urban Meyer is taking to area stores to promote his new book, “Above the Line”. 

On Tuesday, Meyer visited Kroger for a book signing from 6-8 p.m. to start off the appearances.  This afternoon, he was at Barnes & Noble and tomorrow he will attend a ticketed signing at The Book Loft.

Meyer’s book chronicles the Buckeyes 2014 season.  It also shares more general thoughts about leadership and team-building. 

Theses are characteristics one of the top coaches in college football is uniquely qualified to speak on.  Meyer took Ohio State to victory in the inaugural College Football Playoff and has the Buckeyes 8-0 so far on the 2015 campaign.

Overall, Meyer has an impressive 150-26 and two additional national championship wins at Florida.  Through three and a half years, he has yet to lose a game with OSU in Big 10 play.

During a six-year run with the Gators, he racked up 65 wins and won two SEC titles.  Meyer also spent a pair of successful seasons at Bowling Green and Utah to start his head coaching career.
