Visa is tapping into the popularity of Team USA athletes with just a few weeks to go until the Olympics begin.  They have launched a spot featuring standout beach volleyball star Kerri Walsh Jennings and a newcomer to the track and field scene, English Gardner. 

Visa is using the commercial to feature their new exclusive partnership wtih Costco.  This is also the first promotional ad for the warehouse store in 40 years.  

Walsh Jennings and Gardner are shown in the spot paying for their travel essentials at Costco with Visa.  The pair are part of a contingent of 46 Olympic and Paralympic athletes sponsored by Visa. 

Walsh Jennings is one of the most accomplished modern U.S. Olympians, capturing beach volleyball gold with her partner Misty May Treanor in three straight Games.  This time around in Rio, she is going for gold with a new teammate, April Ross. 

In addition to Walsh Jennings' Olympic accolades, she also has won three gold medals and one silver at the World Championships.  She has played professionally on the AVP Tour and FIVB World Tour for a number of years. 

Gardner will be competing for the U.S. in the 100 meters.  She qualified for the event by coming in first with a personal best time of 10.74 seconds at the U.S. Olympic Trials.  

Gardner has been apart of two silver medal 4x100 meter relay teams at the World Championships as well.   She starred on the track in college at the University of Oregon and won five NCAA championships.
