While Colt McCoy is several years removed from his storied career at the University of Texas, he remains an icon in the Lonestar State.  At the end of the month, he will host a youth football camp in a place that will always feel like home, Austin, Texas.

The Colt McCoy Football ProCamp takes place June 27-28 at Westlake High School.  It is for boys and girls in grades 1-8.  

Registration costs $199.  In addition to expert football instruction, campers will receive a t-shirt, team photo and autograph from McCoy. 

McCoy spent four years as the Longhorns starting quarterback.  He is second all-time in wins for a starting quarterback at the FBS level of college football. 

At Texas, McCoy was a two-time consensus first team All-American and a Heisman finalist on two occasions.  He set numerous UT passing records and the program has retired his #12 jersey. 

The Cleveland Browns originally selected him in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft.  He has played seven professional seasons and is currently with the Washington Redskins.
