Just in time for the Masters, golfer Phil Mickelson has a new endorsement deal. He is the newest brand ambassador for the on-demand financial management and capital management software company, Workday.
The multiyear agreement goes into place today during the Masters practice rounds. Mickelson will wear the company logo on his golf shirt in competition.
Workday was founded in 2005 and the company went public in 2012. They have been in the golf game for some time with endorsers like Brandt Snedeker and Matt Kuchar.
Mickelson certainly cannot be ruled out of providing some early exposure for Workday this weekend at Augusta National Golf Club, a place he has won three times. The triumphs at the Masters highlight his five major victories.
Mickelson has also been runner-up at the one major he has not won, the U.S. Open, a record six times. He has 42 career victories on the PGA Tour, which ranks ninth all-time.
Mickelson has spent over 700 weeks in the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking and has reached as high as second on the list. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2012.
