Many diehard wrestling fans are excited to get greater insight into the career of iconic WWE broadcaster Jim Ross through his new book. Slobberknocker: My Life in Wrestling was originally published October 3rd.
Ross has been making the rounds holding various appearances and participating in interviews promoting the book. On Friday, he is holding a book signing in Grapevine, Texas.
Ross will be at the Books A Million store at the Grapevine Mills Mall at 7 p.m. There will be 300 copies of the book available for the signing.
Ross began his career announcing for small promotions in the mid-1970s. From 1987-1993, he was affiliated with Jim Crockett Promotions/World Championship Wrestling.
Ross joined the World Wrestling Federation as a lead broadcaster in 1993. He grew with the organization as it became the WWE and even served in an executive role over the years.
Ross was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. He still works for the organization part-time, broadcasts a variety of other sports and hosts the "Ross Report" podcast on the PodcastOne network.
