WWE star Titus O'Neil is committed to using his platform to inspire young people. He was given the opportunity to continue that mission as the keynote speaker at the Orlando Magic's Magic of Mentoring Minority Male Youth Summit.
The third annual event was held at the Amway Center on January 31st. It was co-hosted by the City of Orlando and Orange County Public Schools.
There were over 150 youths and their mentors in attendance. In addition to O'Neil, several other prominent individuals spoke, including Magic community ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw.
O'Neil originally began his athletic career as a football player at the University of Florida and he later played in the Arena Football League. He entered the professional wrestling world in 2009 with Florida Championship Wrestling.
O'Neil became a fixture on WWE NXT. He was promoted to the WWE's main roster in 2012 and formed the Prime Time Players tag team with Darren Young.
The duo captured the WWE Tag Team Championship during a Money in the Bank match in 2015. O'Neil is currently signed to the Raw brand and is active in charity work in the Tampa Bay area.
