There is no question that many companies actively seek to be aligned with WWE superstar John Cena.  His latest venture with Hefty trash bags is certainly unique.

Cena is starring in a commercial campaign that brings back the classic 1980's "Hefty! Hefty! Hefty!" chant.  They are using the slogan and the wrestler to launch their Ultra Strong line of trash bags. 

According to a release, is the first significant change that Hefty has made to their product portfolio in number of years.  In addition to Cena, actor/comedian Rob Schneider also appears in the spots.

In addition, Cena boasts the fourth-most days as WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the history of the promotion.  He has consistently been a major draw and has headlined WrestleMania five times. 

Ultimate Pro Wrestling first signed Cena in 1999 and two years later he entered into a development contract with the WWF.  Today, he is even a star outside the ring, appearing in several films and also serving as the host of the Fox reality series, "American Grit".
