WWE superstar Titus O'Neil has continued to make tremendous contributions to youth in his community of Tampa, Florida. This winter, he has taken nearly 2,4000 students to see the Hollywood hit film, Black Panther.
O'Neil took recent earnings from a speaking engagement to take some of the kids to see the movie. Ninety percent of the students he has taken sport at least a 3.0-grade point average or better and are recipients of the Dr. Mac J. Williams Sr. Salute to Academic Excellence.
The other lucky attendees take part in the Pinellas County 5000 Role Model of Excellence program. O'Neil wanted the opportunity to expose African-American kids to the film, which features black superheroes as the main characters.
Prior to getting into wrestling, O'Neil played football at the University of Florida and professionally in the Arena Football League. He went on to join the WWE's developmental entities, Florida Championship Wrestling and NXT.
O'Neil gained notoriety in the business by forming the Prime Time Players tag team with Darren Young. The duo won a Money in the Bank match in 2015 to take the WWE Tag Team Championship.
O'Neil currently is a member of RAW and operates the "Titus Brand" in WWE. He is currently participating in tag team matches with Apollo.
