There is no question that cornerback Patrick Peterson is a bedrock player of that standout Arizona Cardinals defense. Phoenix kids in first through eighth grade have the opportunity to learn from his expertise next month.
The Patrick Peterson Football ProCamp runs June 4-5. It will be held each day from 8-11:30 a.m. at Arcadia High School in Phoenix.
Camp registration costs $149. In addition to tremendous football instruction, each camper will receive a Peterson autograph, team photo with the star and a t-shirt.
Peterson has been named to five straight Pro Bowls. This past season, he helped lead the Cardinals to a 13-3 regular season record and NFC West title.
In addition, Peterson was named a first-team All-Pro for the third time in his career in 2015. Arizona originally selected him fifth overall in the 2011 NFL Draft and he has lived up the lofty billing ever since.
Peterson was also a college standout at LSU. As a junior he was a consensus first-team All-American and first-team All-SEC pick while winning the Jim Thorpe Award and Chuck Bednarik Award.
