It is a busy week at the National Sports Collectors Convention and there are no shortage of Hall of Fame athletes making appearances.  One of those in attendance is former Philadelphia Phillies star Mike Schmidt. 

On Saturday, Schmidt will sign autographs at the show beginning at 11 a.m.  This year, the NSCC is hosted at the Atlantic City Convention Center in New Jersey. 

Regular items cost $130 per autograph while premium items are $180.  Inscriptions are $50 extra. 

Schmidt played all 18 big league seasons with the Phillies and has gone down as one of the greatest third baseman in baseball history.  He was a 12-time All-Star and won the Gold Glove Award ten times. 

In the 1980's, Schmidt won three National League Most Valuable Player Awards.  He finished his career with 548 home runs and led the NL eight times. 

Schmidt was the World Series MVP in 1980 as the Phillies beat the Kansas City Royals in six games.  He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995.
