He is the only man to be an All-Star in two sports and was equally electric on the football field and baseball diamond.  Jackson was also a college star, winning the 1985 Heisman Trophy at Auburn.

Injuries derailed both his baseball and football careers, but people still have lasting memories of his athletic prowess to this day.  With his “Bo Knows” campaign and the famed Tecmo Bowl video game portrayal of Jackson, he is the closest thing in sports to a cult hero.
