The San Antonio Spurs will have one of their recently resigned stars in attendance at their two final youth camps.  Sharpshooter Danny Green will help in the instruction at the camps on July 27-31 and August 3-7.

The first camp is at the University of Incarnate Word and the second will be held at the George Gervin Youth Center.  All kids from the ages of 7-14 are invited to attend the five-day clinic that runs from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day.

In addition to top-notch basketball training, campers also will receive a reversible practice jersey, Gatorade water bottle, coaches’ evaluation, camp certificate, and an autograph.  Registration and other information can be found at www.spurs.com/camps. 

Green recently agreed to a reported four-year, $45 million contract to remain with the Spurs.  Throughout his five seasons in San Antonio, he has been a key piece in continuing the franchise’s great run of success.

Green exploded on the national scene during the 2013 NBA Finals, when he hit a record 27 threes in the seven-game series.  The Spurs ultimately lost but would win a championship with him the following season.
