Firestone has created a unique contest allowing people to race legendary driver Mario Andretti in various tasks and win a trip to the Indianapolis 500.  A six-week sweepstakes is currently running that will result in one person winning a trip for two to "the Greatest Spectacle in Racing" on May 29th. 

People are racing against Andretti to complete ordinary tasks like peeling an orange.  They then post those videos on Twitter using #RaceAndrettiSweepstakes. 

Each week, one winner receives a $500 Firestone Complete Auto Care gift card and a Firestone Racing hat signed by Andretti.  The winner will be selected from that pool and have the opportunity to meet the racing great in addition to attending the Indy 500.  

Andretti is one of the most versatile race car drivers of all-time.  He is one of two drivers to have won races in Formula One, IndyCar, NASCAR and World Sportscar Championship.

WIth his win at the 1967 Daytona 500 and a triumph two years later at the Indy 500, Andretti has won arguably the two most prestigious races in motorsports.  Overall, he captured four IndyCar titles and was the 1978 Formula One World Champion.  

Amazingly, no American has won a Formula One race since Andretti in 1978.  Today, he serves as a top corporate spokesman, motivational speaker, and patriarch of his famour racing family.
