Fresh off a standout freshman campaign, likely NBA Draft lottery pick De'Aaron Fox has been traveling across the state of Kentucky making appearances. His schedule of events began on Friday with visits to the Wildcat Wearhouse stores in Somerset and Glasgow.
On Saturday, Fox hit Wildcat Wearhouse locations in Owensboro and Hopkinsville. The following day, he held an autograph signing at Campus Wearhouse in Simpsonville.
The first round of appearances for Fox will conclude on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Barleycorns in Cold Spring. In addition to his various stops, many of his former UK teammates have also been touring the state.
In his one season in Lexington, Fox averaged 16.7 points, 4.6 assists and 3.9 rebounds. He was named to the first-team All-SEC and the SEC All-Freshman Team.
During the postseason, Fox was named MVP of the SEC Tournament. He went on to score 39 points against UCLA in the NCAA Tournament as the Wildcats advanced to the Elite Eight.
Fox played his prep ball at Cypress Lakes High School. He was a consensus five-star prospect and the top point guard in the Class of 2016.
