Former NFL Running Back Clinton Portis Judges Miss Hooters International Pageant

Last week, former NFL running back Clinton Portis had a unique reason to visit Las Vegas.  Portis was a judge for the 19th annual Miss Hooters International Pageant.

Meagan Pastorchik from South Carolina took home the title on Wednesday night and won $30,000 in the process.  Miss Hooters International also gets to serve as an international face of the restaurant chain brand.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin also joined Portis on the panel along with other notables at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

In nine NFL seasons, Portis rushed for 9,923 yards and 75 touchdowns.  He was a two-time Pro Bowler who played for both the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins.

Portis played his first two seasons with the Broncos after being a second round pick out of the University of Miami.  He ran for over 1,500 yards each time and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2002.

Portis had a storied collegiate career and was inducted into the UM Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.  As a junior, he rushed for 1,200 yards, scored ten touchdowns, and the Canes won the National Championship.
