Former Toronto Maple Leafs Standout Darcy Tucker Holds Autograph Signing in Niagara Falls

Toronto Maple Leafs fans still remember the effort and intensity Darcy Tucker gave the franchise for eight seasons. He met a welcoming crowd at an autograph signing in Niagara Falls on Saturday.

Tucker signed an array of items at Brock Ford. He was in town for an exhibition game that night that featured Leafs alumni against a team of Canadian military members.

With the recent resurgence of the franchise in Toronto, there is a lot more interest in everything Maple Leafs. Fans certainly enjoyed seeing Tucker in his team polo and sharing stories from the past.

Tucker became a fan favorite for his ability to agitate the opponent. Over the course of his 14-year NHL career, he racked up 1,410 penalty minutes.

Tucker won three Memorial Cups in junior hockey with the Kamloops Blazers. The Montreal Canadiens selected him in the sixth round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.

Tucker spent three seasons with the Canadiens and three years with the Tampa Bay Lightning before joining the Maple Leafs in 2000. He also played two final seasons with the Colorado Avalanche before retiring in 2010.
