Former Two-Time All-Pro Otis Wilson Holds Chicagoland Book Signing

Otis Wilson is one of the underappreciated stars from the standout Chicago Bears defenses of the 1980s. Several fans got the opportunity to relive the glory days with the ex-linebacker at his book signing.

On Friday, Wilson was at the popular Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville. He autographed copies of "If These Walls Could Talk: Stories from the Chicago Bears Sideline, Locker Room and Press Box.

Wilson co-authored the book that tells stories from his football career with Chet Coppock. There were over 100 fans who showed up to the event.

Wilson was an All-American at the University of Louisville before being selected in the first round of the 1980 draft by the Bears. Wilson was named to the 1985 Pro Bowl and was a two-time All-Pro.

During that 1985 season, Wilson collected 10.5 sacks and helped Chicago win Super Bowl XX. He played for the franchise through the 1987 season and suited up for the Los Angeles Rams for one game in 1989 before retiring.

Wilson helps provide at-risk kids with health and fitness programs through The Otis Wilson Charitable Association. In 2013, he was inducted into the KY Pro Football Hall of Fame.
