Green Bay Packers rookie safety Josh Jones has quickly built a fanbase. Local cheeseheads turned out in force last night when he made an appearance in Neillsville, Wisconsin. 

The autograph signing took place at Gross Motors from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Jones autographed items for free and there was also Packers merchandise on hand from Mayfield Sports. 

He was excited to make one of his first public appearances among the Green Bay faithful. There was also popcorn and refreshments available for those in attendance. 

Jones was a star at North Carolina State University. He was second in the Atlantic Coast Conference with four interceptions as a freshman and led the team with 106 tackles as a junior. 

Jones was an honorable mention All-ACC pick during his final season in Raleigh. The Packers went on to select him in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. 

Jones had a breakout game in September when he collected 12 tackles and sacked Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton twice in an overtime victory. He currently has 40 tackles on the season.
