After breaking his foot in the opening game of his rookie season, it has been a long year so far for Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle. Randle recently told the Orange County Register that he is basically 100% recovered though prepping him for a big summer of improvement.
In addition to working on his game, he will also be hosting a pair of camps, one in Los Angeles and one in his college town of Lexington, Kentucky. The Julius Randle Youth Camp is partnered with iSGCamps and runs June 15-17 in Lexington and August 5-7 in LA.
The sessions run 9:00 a.m-3:00 p.m. each day and will be staffed with instructors teaching the fundamentals. Randle will also be on hand to give instruction, sign autographs, and take pictures.
Registration details and other information can be found at isgcamps.com/Julius-randle/.
Randle was the seventh overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. That was after a season at Kentucky that saw him named to the All-SEC first-team.
In his one season at UK, the Wildcats advanced to the national championship game. Randle was also named a third-team All-American and averaged 15 points with 10.4 rebounds per game.
