This month, Miami Marlins All-Star Giancarlo Stanton made an appearance for Tag Heuer. He was representing the watch brand on August 10th at the Aventura Mall in Miami.
Stanton was helping Tag Heuer celebrate their 100 Years of Innovation. They showed several timepieces that represented their history at the exhibit.
There was also a virtual reality experience showcasing the evolution of the Carrera watch. Stanton originally signed on as a brand ambassador with Tag Heuer last September.
Stanton was on his way to another 30-home run campaign for the Marlins before a season-ending groin injury sidelined him last week. Since the All-Star break, he had been instrumental in putting the franchise in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2003.
At the Midsummer Classic, Stanton won the Home Run Derby for the first time and hit a record 61 homers in the competition. In seven seasons, he has been a three-time All-Star.
The best year of Stanton's career came in 2014, when he hit .288 with 37 homers and 105 RBI on the way to finishing second in National League Most Valuable Player voting. He already has over 200 career home runs and is the Marlins all-time leader.
