Legendary Dallas Cowboys player Michael Irvin will be visiting LSU later this month to talk to local high school football coaches about the sport. He will be there for the LSU Football Coaches Clinic that is taking place on March 19-21 and will share lots of his knowledge and experience with those who attend in hopes of giving them more information about having careers in football.
The five-time Pro Bowl player spent 11 years playing with the Dallas Cowboys and never went to another team at any point during his career. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007, and is also currently in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. These days Irvin is a analyst for the NFL network, and had his own radio show that was aired on Miami’s WQAM station up until 2012. In addition to his distinguished sports career, Irvin has also appeared as a guest on numerous television shows such as "Burn Notice", "4th and Long", and "Pros vs Joes". He also had minor roles in the Adam Sandler movies “The Longest Yard” and “Jack and Jill.”
In the list of The Top 100 NFL’s Greatest players he ranks at a solid 92. Irvin will be speaking to high school football coaches at LSU later this month to share some of his insight on the sport with them as they move forward in their jobs. This event should be very useful to these coaches as well as a lot of fun to hear from a big name like Michael Irvin.
