The Monster Energy All-Star Race takes place Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Plenty of festivities dot the weekend, including a special event with NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon. 

Fans have the opportunity to gain access to a Gordon book signing at Hendrick Motorsports in Concord. Anyone who purchases a copy of his book, "Jeff Gordon: His Dream, Drive & Destiny," from Thursday to midday Saturday at the store will be eligible. 

The signing begins at 11:30 a.m and limited spots are available. Purchase receipts serve as a ticket for the signing line. 

From 1993-2015, Gordon drove the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. He is a four-time Sprint Cup champion and three-time winner of the Daytona 500. 

With 93 career Cup wins, Gordon ranks third all-time in NASCAR history. He participated in 797 consecutive races from 1992 through the 2015 season. 

In 1998, Gordon was named one of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers. He remains active in the sport as a car owner and commentator for Fox's NASCAR coverage.
