There is no question that New York Giants rookie wide receiver Sterling Shepard has impressed in his initial days in the NFL.  Along with his standout play have come a legion of fans excited by what he adds to the offense.

Through three games, Shepard ranks 17th in the NFL with 233 receiving yards and has scored two touchdowns.  He scored his first touchdown in week one and helped the Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys 20-19. 

New York originally selected him in the second round of the NFL Draft this past spring.  In college, Sterling became one of the best receivers in Oklahoma history. 

As a senior, he caught 86 passes for 1,288 and 11 touchdowns.  Sterling was as Beletnikoff Award semifinalist and a first-team All-Big 12 pick.
